Religious Education Program (CCD)

Just a reminder that registration for Sacred Heart’s religious education program will occur after all Saturday evening and Sunday Masses on the weekend of September 5th, September 12th, and September 19th.  Classes will begin on September 19th.  Sacred Heart offers religious education (CCD) on Sundays during the school year for Catholic children in the first grade and older.  All children in the program are required to attend the 9:45am Mass when classes are in session, and classes take place from 11am-12:30pm.  Please spread the word!

Our religious education program could also use your help.  We are interested in new catechists (teachers) and catechist assistants.  No prior experience is required.  Please help us to educate our young people in our Catholic faith.  Please email info@shjnyc.com for more information.  Thank you!

ParishPay Update

Thank you to all Sacred Heart parishoners who have already enrolled in ParishPay!

We are pleased to announce that we will soon be making special tokens available for all parishoners who enroll, so that you will have something to put in the collection basket to indicate that you have made a gift through ParishPay.  These tokens will soon be available in the back of the church during Sunday Masses.

ParishPay

Sacred Heart is now on the ParishPay system, which will enable us to accept electronic and credit card donations.  Parishoners may now elect to make a monthly electronic donation from a bank account or credit card instead of using envelopes.

We will be providing more information at all the weekend Masses.  Parishoners may sign up by following this link.
